bold pencil brush

a brush preset useful for hand-etching some cracks or all sorts of organic surface details in zbrush

I setup this brush to react to pen pressure in very expressive but intuitive ways, making it a lot less work to get the crack shapes I want.

the default Z Intensity on this is useful for both bold cracks and pockmark detailing, but be sure to test it out at lower Z Intensity settings as well (taking intensity down to 10 and just scribbling is great for getting all sorts of organic details )

At high resolutions, brushstrokes which are large, fast, and high intensity will create messy artifacts. I use this brush for quickly etching in fine details instead of major forms, and for that I find the artifacts easy to avoid or clean.

sometimes I use the same custom alpha as a stamp to get a larger divot shape with cleaner planes than the pencil leaves, so I've included that brush as well. Again, make sure to vary your Z Intensity for this one
